- Provide prime power services (operation and maintenance) of 7.5 mw power plant, Camp Freedom, Green Zone, Baghdad, Iraq, for the period July 1, 2008 through Dec. 31, 2008, with option to extend performance for an additional six months, in accordance with detailed Scope of Work in RFQ. Interested offerors must sbmit an interim Operations Plan, Safety Plan, and Quality Control Plan with their offer by the required response date in order to be considered for award. Electronic responses are acceptable. This is a commercial items/services acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. Interested firms may download the RFQ at www.fbo.gov by searching on the above RFQ number. Offerors are cautioned that in order to be eligible for award, they must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registry. Information on getting registerd may be obtained by phoning 1-888-2-2423 or by accessing the following internet website: www.ccr.gov. Also, U.S. firms who receive a federal contract in excess of $35,000.00 are required by legislationn to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans. Information on submitting your report may be obtained by calling 703-461-2460 or by accessing the following internet web site: http://vets.dol.gov/vets100. This procurement is unrestricted.
