- This acquisition is for nonpersonal services shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to collect, package, and transport medical waste on Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), Mississippi. Period of performance will be a base period from 1 Oct 08 to 30 Sep 09 and four one year option periods to extend for a total of 66 months. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract to the offeror whose offer is determined to be the best value to the Government based on price and past performance. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 562211 and the applicable small business size standard is $11,500,000.00. The tentative solicitation issue date is 17 June 08, and will be available via http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Any interested party unable to access and download the solicitation may contact the contract specialist for instructions. Copies of the solicitation are not available for mailing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. All prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registry prior to award with any DoD agency.
