- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, intends to make a single award for the provision of Burial Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Bastrop, Texas. The contract shall consist of a 12 month period. The contract period shall be from the effective date of award through 12 months. The solicitation will be available on or about June 16, 2008, and will be distributed through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 31, 2008. The solicitation will be issued as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 812210. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be have a DUNS number and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
