- Description
- The Alder Ridge Trail Restoration project will consist of trail machine maintenance of existing trail drainage structures, adding new drainage structures, the removal of trail slough and berm, and trail trenching where needed, on approximately 8 miles of the Alder Ridge Trail. Items of work will include: removing slough and berm, filling ruts and troughs, restoring an estimated 60 existing trail-way drainage structures, and the construction of an estimated 500 new trail-way drainage structures. This project is located north of Leavenworth, Washington and northeast of Lake Wenatchee near the Alder Ridge Trailhead, Chelan County. The performance period is 100 calendar days. The Government’s cost estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100% payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit is required after award. The NAICS code is 237990. No set asides will be utilized. No formal site visit is anticipated. The upper portions of the Alder Ridge will have snow until mid-July therefore visits to this portion should be made after this time.

- Address: This project is located north of Leavenworth, Washington and northeast of Lake Wenatchee in Chelan County. From Leavenworth head west on Highway 2 to Coles Corner. Turn right onto SR. 207 and proceed north crossing the outlet of Lake Wenatchee. Just past the outlet turn right proceeding about 2 miles and take a left onto the Chiwawa river road FS Road 62.
