- The United States Air Force, 6th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources for a contemplated contract for Avon Park Air Force Range, FL for delivery of (1) 375 cubic yards of 2-3 inch clean white stone and (2) 810 cubic yards of road base clay. Delivery will be to Avon Park Air Force Range. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information. The 6th Contracting Squadron is currently conducting market research for vendors who can provide 2-3 inch clean white stone and road base clay. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. For purposes of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423390 Other Construction Material Merchant Wholesaler and the small business size standard is 100 employees. If your firm is capable of providing the requirements described above, please provide a Capability Statement to Maria McKenzie-Williams @maria.mckenzie-williams@macdill.af.mil by 17 Jun 08. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size to include small business size categories, i.e., 8(a), Service Disabled-Veteran Owned Small Business, HUBZone, etc., GSA Schedule or Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) number (if applicable), address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the service the government is seeking. Interested parties shall not submit more than 3 single sided, type-written pages using 12-point font or larger. Published literature may be any number of pages.
