- Sources sought to provide antennas AS-3243 (NSN: 5985-01-061-6941) and AS-3244 (NSN: 5985-01-063-1474) for a five year contract with a one year option. The last known suppliers of the AS-3243 antenna are Taco Antenna Inc (a division of Wade Antenna Inc), Cage Code: 78702, Mfg PN: 27875-1 and Canadian Communication Corp, Cage Code: 98247. The Government requires a total of 122 of the AS-3243 antennas. 74 of the AS-3243 antennas are required for FY 08. 36 more AS-3243 antennas are required FY 09-FY 13. Another 12 AS-3243 antennas are required for FY 14. The Government does not possess specifications and-or detailed drawings for the AS-3243 antenna to be procured. The last three known suppliers of the AS-3244 antenna are Taco Antenna Inc (a division of Wade Antenna Inc), Cage Code: 78702, Mfg PN: 28050-501; Delhi-Solar Inc, Cage Code: 37311; and Antenna Product Corporation, Cage Code: 06032, Mfg PN: 1000-1373-201. The Government requires a total of 225 of the AS-3244 antenna. 145 of the AS-3244 antennas are required for FY 08. 60 more AS-3244 antennas are required FY 09-FY 13. Another 20 AS-3244 antennas are required for FY 14. The Government does not possess specifications and-or detailed drawings for the AS-3244 antenna to be procured. Suppliers who are capable of delivery of these should contact the government before June 27, 2008. Submissions can be sent to timothy.langan@us.army.mil. Responses must include documentation the supplier can provide the army with a physically and functionally interchangeable unit from the previous supplier. Examples of such documentation can be test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can provide the army with an interchangeable unit. Suppliers may have to warrant that the unit will perform satisfactorily when used in the intended purpose of the army.
