Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B1F48141A002 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-27. This acquisition is classified under North American Industry Classification System code 336360 (size standard 500 employees). A Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order will be issued in writing. Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL requirement for: (QTY: 50) gray portable universal pilot softseat cushion base/lumbar combo for aerobatic & commercial aircraft. Also for (QTY: 50) gray portable universal pilot softseat cushion base for aerobatic & commercial aircraft. Must be a minimum of 1” thickness for useful cushioning. Must meet or exceed 14 CFR (FAR) 25.853(a) for fire resistance. Must be ready made for removable and compatible lumbar support. Must contain a cut out in the front to accommodate controls and restraint system. Must also be light, military compatible color to prevent excessive heating in direct sunlight. Must be a minimum of 1” thickness for useful cushioning. Only a Brand Name or Equal requirement will be accepted, if you are submitting an “or Equal” requirement, please submit all of the data necessary to determine that your product meets all of our requirements. Contractor shall provide a signed and dated quote that includes price, product description, delivery estimate, delivery terms, GSA number if applicable, and tax identification number to load into our database.
