- BLADDER (2590-01-416-6248) F/M109A1-6 IS A REPAIR KIT FOR THE ACCUMULATOR REPLENISHER SYSTEM THAT CONSISTS OF A BLADDER MADE FROM HYDRIN RUBBER COMPOUND AND GAS VALVE ASSEMBLY. THE PART IS SOLE SOURCE TO THEPARKER HANIFFIN COMPANY, CAGE: 26337, USING THEIR P/N/ 700203. THE PART IS APPROXIMATE 13.82 INCHES LONG AND 7.76 INCHES IN DIAMETER. REQUIREMENT IS FOR 200 EACH, FOR USE ON THE M109 HOWITZER. FOB IS DESTINATION. The contract will have two (2) 100% options. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, One Responsible source. The intended source is Parker Haniffin Company, 10711 N 2 St, Machesney Park, IL 61115-1459. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested contractors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government, and at the present time there are no funds or resources to qualify another vendor. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Estimated issue date is 27 JUNE 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
