- Description
- The US Army RDECOM Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for 200 each low V Parachutes with D Bag and 50 high V Parachutes. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed Price Contract to C&E Industries, Inc., a Small Business located in Fall River, MA. This is the original manufacturer and currently the only manufacturer of the LCADSLC and LCADS-HV Parachutes in the given configuration required for the JIEDDO 10 ICDS Program. The 10K JIEDDO ICDS program was developed to provide a low cost-one time use airdrop capability to the field using Army inventory parachutes and one time use plywood platforms. The requisition number for this acquisition is W91A2K-8074-1501. This acquisition will be issued using Other Than Full and Open Competition under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) Only One Responsible Source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 313312. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 2399 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination and inspection and acceptance shall be at destination by the cognizant receiving authority. Period of Performance will be Five (5) months from Contract Award.
