- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Offer to the organization identified as the State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Resource Assessment located in St. Paul, Minnesota. This acquisition will entail aerial imagery of 175 status and trend sample plots and shall be prioritzed to the extent possible within the state of Minnesota to cover: heavily forested regions of the northeast, rapidly developing metropolitan areas, and areas of the mid-section (transition zones) roughly from the Twin Cities northwest to St. Cloud, Brainerd, and Bemiji. Imagery is to be provided in a digital format using a film-based true color product. The final product will be a high resolution (1 meter) scanned and digitally rectified image. Photo plots will be done in either 1 by 2 mile or 4 by 2 mile sizes. Images taken for the FWS will be done in conjuction with flights performed for state agency survey plots. This is a sole source contract with a fixed fee per imagery plot cost.
