- The work required under this solicitation includes the design, installation and testing of a new preaction fire sprinkler system with double interlock, to include piping, air compressor, fire sprinklers, valves, sump pump, pipe labeling, heat detectors, wiring, conduit, emergency stop push buttons, hold-open devices for doors, door gasketing, and a new fire alarm panel with graphics to serve above and below raised floor areas in BLDG 350, 1st floor. This procurement will consist of base work and three options. The rough order of magnitude for this proposed procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Drawings for this procurement will be made available upon request after the solicitation has been posted to the web by contacting the point of contact as listed in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102 therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
