- Modify the original Solicitation as follows Modification to the salient characteristics from the original solicitation, ALL ITEMS QUOTED MUST BE PORTABLE, SIMILAR IN SHAPE TO A FLASHLIGHT, AND MUST OPERATE ON STANDARD ALKALINE BATTERIES "AA", "C" OR OTHER READILY AVAILABLE COMMERCIAL STYLE ALKALINE BATTERIES. ALL QUOTES FOR EQUAL PRODUCTS SHALL INCLUDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS FOR COMPARISON TO THE BRAND NAME PRODUCT. The closing date for this solicitation is extended to 18 JUN, 2008 at 1600 hr (4:00 PM) Local Kandahar Time. The anticipated award date will be 22 JUN, 2008.
