This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The offeror shall state in theiroffer their size status for this procurement.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)] for removal of perlitefrom a liquid hydrogen storage tank. The object of this project is to provide labor,equipment, and materials necessary to remove perlite from the annular area of the LiquidHydrogen Storage Tank T2, located at building 4672 at the Marshall Space Flight Center,Huntsville, AL.See the attached Statement of Work with the project objective, requirements,deliverables, period of performance and LH2 tank particulars. ***Onsite visits areencouraged for quoting purposes for this service. An onsite visit with the MSFCtechnical personnel for this requirement is scheduled for interested vendors for 8:30a.m. CST on June 24, 2008.
