- Description
- The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Coastal Services Center, Charleston South Carolina, is issuing notice of intent to negotiate a sole source procurement with the non profit organization Land Trust Alliance, 1660 L St. N, Washington, to provide facilitation and logistical services during the 2008 Land Trust Alliance Conference being held in Pittsburgh, PA. Land Trust Alliance is the only known source qualified to support efforts in conservation of coastal resources by providing a venue for the transfer of information among the coastal resource management community during the conference and is the only known organization hosting a land conservation training and networking conference in FY08. The statutory authority is 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The applicable NAICS code is 813312 with a size standard $6.5 million. Interested parties may identify their interest and must provide evidence of their capability to respond to this requirement by June 22, 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note 22 applies.
