- The Federal Bureau of Prisons plans to issue RFQ-61903-0033-8 for the provision of subsistence, meat, and kosher products to the Federal Correctional Institution located in Herlong, California. The Government intends to award multiple indefinite delivery/requirements contracts as a result of this solicitation. The period of performance for any resulting contracts will be July 1, 2008, through September 30, 2008. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424410; the small business size standard for Government procurements is 500 employees. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after June 12, 2008, with a due date of June 25, 2008, 4:00 PM PST. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site https://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside (Numbered Note 1).
