- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically the Hines ITC (Information Technology Center), has developed the enclosed solicitation, (RFQ) VA-69D-07-RQ-0445. The purpose of this solicitation is for the contractor to provide all labor, material, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to provide maintenance and repair services to the UPS battery bank located at the VA Hines Information Technology Center (ITC), Building 215, Fifth Avenue & Roosevelt Road, Hines, IL 60141. In accordance with the statement of work and the specifications, terms, and conditions listed within this Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NACIS 811219, size standard $6.5 Million. Anticipated period of performance is October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods, at the Government's discretion. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on June 12, 2008. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the Federal Business Opportunities website; www.fedbizopps.gov, select "Find Business Opportunities" and then enter the solicitation number. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be available at this address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
