- DESCRIPTION: The U. S. Special Operations Command intends to contract with Honeywell International Incorporated, MN for one Radar Altimeter, RT-1115J/Part #HG7209AD01 to sustain spares/repair parts for support of the Common Cockpit System Hot Bench trainer and the MH6 Hot Bench for Special Operations Aircraft (SOA) on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Equipment shall be delivered to Ft. Campbell, KY. The period of performance shall be 180 days after receipt of the contract. Honeywell International Incorporated is the designer, developer and manufacturer of the Radar Altimeter and owns all proprietary data for the equipment. This is a DO-A1 rated contract. The solicitation number is H92241-08-R-0022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511; the business size is over 1,000 employees and over $17,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about 6 June 2008. Proposals are due 7 July 2008, 2:00 PM local time and should be submitted via e-mail to stanford.williams@us.army.mil.
