- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate capable small business concerns. The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this sources sought synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought notice. The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND is interested in the identification of capable sources to repair a water tower, including sandblasting, painting, sealing, welding, and structural work, as well as the installation of a post indicator valve. 1. Description: Repair Water Tower. Repairs include sandblasting, painting, sealing, welding, and structural work. In addition, a post indicator valve, hydrant, and six-inch isolation valve will be installed adjacent to the water tower. 2. Information requested: a. Company Information. Name, Address, telephone number, FAX number, point of contact(s) name(s), phone number, e-mail address. b. Capability Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the type of support described above. Please include contract references relating to water tower repairs to include: Contract number; agency supported, period of performance, original contract value, and Point of Contact (POC) with current phone/fax number. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. The government is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. Capability packages should be limited to no more than 15 pages (you may print front & back). c. In addition, annotate if you are a small business, HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, etc. as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and if currently listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system. Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found at http://www.sba.gov/services/contractingopportunities/sizestandardstopics/tableofsize/index.html. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110. Small Business size is $31.0 Million. d. A letter of interest in the acquisition. 3. Submission Information. Response must be received by this office at or before 4:00 pm CST on 16 Jun 08. All information is strictly voluntary. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted or for any costs associated with providing the information.
