- THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. This contract includes repair of the East Fork of South Fork Salmon River Bridge. The bridge is approximately 250 feet long, with three concrete piers, and concrete abutments. The bridge is single lane. Work includes: 1. Remove and dispose of existing steel bridge superstructure, treated timber deck and rail system. Preserve and protect existing concrete bearing abutment and pier bearing seats. 2. Install new bridge bearing devices on piers and abutments. 3. Modify concrete abutments and piers. 4. Install weathering steel modular bridge superstructure 5. Install weathering steel bridge, transition and approach railing. 6. Install bituminous wear surface on bridge and approach 7. Install 4 type 3 object markers. The project is located on Lick Creek Road, which is the Valley County road that goes from McCall to Yellowpine. The project is located approximately 30 miles east of McCall on the Lick Creek road. The project will be awarded before October 1, 2008. The Contractor may close the road for bridge work after the Johnson Creek road opens up in the Summer of 2008. Johnson Creek road is an alternative route into the town of Yellowpine that the public will use when the East Fork of South Fork Salmon River Bridge is closed. NAICS code: 237310. Size Standard: $31.0 Million. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Estimated start date is 9/15/08 with 180 calendar days for completion. This procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside. This is a 100% Hubzone Set Aside.
