- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER. The National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Spokane, WA hereby announces its intent to issue a purchase order to Entech Instruments, Inc.: SL2 Preconcentrator Robotic System, including 01-7100-02 Sulfur Compound Option, 01-7100-10 Loop Injection Option, 01-7100-11 Direct GC Option, 01-7100-12 SV Trap Option, delivered to NIOSH, Cincinnati, OH. Instrument is required for use with Government-owned GC-MS system. This project is supported by justification for other than full and open competition to Entech Instruments under authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1). Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice, their written item description/item characteristics and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. Please forward the item description and pricing information to Denise Rains, Reference #000HCCGC-2008-57602, CDC/NIOSH, 315 East Montgomery Avenue, Spokane WA 99207, ATTN: Denise Rains. Fax (509)354-8099 or email dgr8@cdc.gov are acceptable. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to an award of a Federal contract or purchase order. The webiste is www.ccr.gov. The Government will review any/all item descriptions and pricing information submitted and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide this requirement. Information received in response will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received with 15 days, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), negotiations will be held with Entech Instruments as the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
