- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors to provide, BEP number 2E003411, 300 ea, fixture fluorescent 277 volt 2-tube 96 inch high outpot T-8 rapid start electronic ballast dust and vapor tight with clear lens. To be mobern P/N VT296ELOHO277. No substitutions. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-08-0236. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to The Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14th & C St SW, Washington, DC 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be awarded based on price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any applicable credit or trade in, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due June 16, 2008. Quotations may be faxed to Diane Rollins at (202) 874-3135 or transmitted via e-mail to rollins.diane@bep.treas.gov. BRAND NAME: BRAND NAME FOR MOBERN LIGHTING FIXTURE IS DUE TO MANY AREAS THAT THE BUREAU OF ENGRAVING HAVE ALREADY RENOVATED UTILIZING THESE LIGHTING FIXTURES AND PROCURING THE MOBERN FIXTURES WILL ENSURE UNIFORM REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION OF ALL LIGHTING FIXTURES. BY USING THE SAME BRAND, BEP CAN KEEP A UNIFORM APPEARANCE THROUGHOUT.
