- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking sources that can provide a “one-point-of-contact” procurement support for the relocation of approximately 25 research laboratories per year. The Contractor shall furnish services, qualified personnel, material, equipment, and facilities, not otherwise provided by the Government under the terms of a contract, as needed to perform the following services: logistics of move management for scientific equipment and materials and their associated office furniture; movers capable of handling sensitive laboratory equipment and materials, demountable partitions, files, and other various office furniture and equipment; facilities for the temporary storage of these goods; and resources for the administration and management of the contract, including furnishing of comprehensive reports and inventories to accurately account for the history of assigned relocation tasks. Capability statements must describe the ability to meet the above requirements and provide references for similar work that the offeror has performed, or is currently performing, and the dollar value of that work. All small businesses including small disadvantaged business, HUBZone small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business and women-owned small business concerns should respond with a capability statement by June 16, 2008, 9:00 am EDT. Teaming arrangements are encouraged. Please also CLEARLY INDICATE BUSINESS SIZE based on the size criteria for NAICS code 541990 in the front cover of the capability statement.
