- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) 08SQ301182 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. This RFQ is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115112, Site Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating and the size standard is $6.5M. This requirement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, has a requirement to perform an aerial application of fertilizer (as defined in the scope of work) at the Beal Lake riparian area, located south and east of Needles, CA. The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, and materials to perform this task. The contractor shall purchase and provide the following specific granular fertilizer, a granular mix of the following fertilizer: 400lbs 16-20-0/ac plus.60lbs of wolftrax zinc/ac. A total of 58 acres will be fertilized. This requirement may result in multiple awards. Contractors may quote on all line items, or quote on individual line items of interest. The RFQ contains the following: a description with quantities, and all applicable clauses and provisions. Quotes are due June 11, 2008 by 4:00 p.m. local time and may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail to: Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Contracting Office (LC-3110), P.O.
