- Notice: ONLY LOCAL SOURCES LOCATED IN JAPAN WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. Local sources are those sources (e.g., corporations or partnerships) that are physically located in Japan and authorized to perform in Japan, the type of service work specified in this solicitation. Specifically, a prospective offeror must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, lab or standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance e of the resulting contracts. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall be responsible to develop Erosion and Sediment Control Management Plan and a bilingual pamphlet in accordance with the Statement of Work. The solicitation (Request for Quotation) W912HV-08-T-0021 will be issued and made available on 4 June 2008 with the due date of 16 June 2008 at 1700 hours, (5:00pm) Japan Standard Time attention to Perl Cadawan, perlita.a.cadawan@usace.army, Contracting Division, Procurement Branch. Prospective offeror must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) which is required by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 52.204-7004) to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires an applicant to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
