- Description
- The Department of the Air Force, USAFE, 435 ABW / 700th Contracting Squadron / LGCB has a requirement for a non-personal as described in paragraph 2. In order to be considered for a contract award, all quotes must be received No Later Than (NLT) Close of Business (COB), 1630 hours, Wednesday - 18 June 2008. 1. Please provide a Firm Fixed Price quote with FOB Destination pricing. Responses and questions shall be directed in writing, using the English language, to primary POC. Email or fax is preferred. 2. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: Non-Personal Services to: Furnish all labor, tools, transportation, equipment and materials necessary for rental of a festival tent in accordance to the below statement of work. 3. Please complete page 2 of the attached RFQ as applicable and return pages 1 and 2 with your quote. 4. This information may be used for market research on future requirements and is not in any form, a guarantee of receiving a contact award. 5. All quotes must be submitted in the English language to be considered for contract award. 6. All vendors must have a DUNS number, a CAGE code, and be registered with the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, to be considered for contract award. Registration and other information may be obtained by going to the following websites: DUNS # http://www.dnb.com/us/ CAGE code / CCR http://www.ccr.gov STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0 GENERAL. The contractor shall provide a tent for the Welfare Bazaar for vendors and sponsors to include delivery, set up, tear down and removal. 2.0 CONTRACTOR PROVIDED MATERIAL/EQUIPMENT: Fest Tent of the size 25 meter x 55 meter to include: 2.1 Heavy duty wooden floor, 2.2 A minimum of 5 lighting fixtures to include extension cords, 2.3 Four (4) handicap ramps usable for wheel chairs for each of the 4 entrances, 2.4 One curtain with windows and entrance in the middle of the curtain to divide the tent into two sections. No handicap ramp is required for the inside of the tent. 2.5 CURTAIN/SIZE OF SECTIONS: One section is 25 x 40 meters (for vendors) and the second section is 25 x 15 meters (for sponsors). 2.6 No stakes can be used for set up of the tent. The contractor shall set up and secure the tent to withhold windstorms and heavy rain. The floor shall be leveled and safe to walk on, without holes. 2.7 The contractor shall install the lighting fixtures as well as the extension cords long enough to reach the connection to the electrical power on the side of the tent facing the hangers. 2.8 BASE ACCESS: The contractor shall provide a police report not older than three month and copy of the current password for himself and each contractor employee to the NAFI four weeks prior to the welfare bazaar to assure base access. 2.9 DELIVERY & SET UP OF THE TENT: 12 September 2008, 0600 - 1800 hours and 13 September 2008, 0600 - 1400 hours. By 1800 hours on 12 September 2008 the wooden floor, the tent frame and roof shall be completely set up. Remaining set up to be completed on 13 September 2008, not later than 1400 hours. 2.10 TEAR DOWN & REMOVAL OF THE TENT: 22 September 2008, 0600 - 2000 hours
