- The U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) intends to award a Five- year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for Fuel Tanks, 60kw Mil Std orders will be placed on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The NSN is 2910-01-150-0729. The drawing number is 70-1052. This is an Invitation For Bid (IFB) through a Reverse Auction. Shipments are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance FOB Source. Ship To will be New Cumberland, PA. The delivery schedule will be 5 each 60 Days After Contract and 10 each month thereafter until completion. First article testing will not be required and special packaging instructions will be provided as an attachment with the solicitation. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Offerors wishing to participate in the Reverse Auction shall follow the instructions stated in the Solicitation. The solicitation will describe the date, time and how the Reverse Auction will occur and include the details of how the Reverse Auction will be evaluated. Furthermore, the solicitation will give instructions as how each contractor can receive an ID and Password for the reverse auction. The drawings can be accessed through the solicitation folder under the IBOP. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be through the Reverse Auction. The U.S. Army CECOM LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/, to allow electronic transmittal of solicitations and proposals. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM LCMC are invited to access the ASFI in order to send and receive information. You may access potential CECOM LCMC Business Opportunities by selecting CECOM LCMC-FISCAL YEAR from the drop down menu under the heading ARMY PRE-AWARD and click GO. Registration for a User ID and Password is available under USER SERVICES, USER REGISTRATION, in the center of the screen. The solicitation will be posted on or about 16 June 2008 on the IBOP.
