- Amendment: The Question and Answer Session has been moved to the end of the first day, Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Also includes more specific information on meeting times and add a disclaimer. The two-day event will consist of: (1) June 18, 2008, Wednesday Visitor registration and Facility Tour sign-up; Introduction and Administrative Brief by the Contracting Officer; Welcome and Command Briefing; Overview by the Technical Director; overviews by the Test Engineering, Mission Support, Resources Management, and Operations Directorates; and Question and Answer Session. All events on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 will be at Cochise Theatre, Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Visitor registration and Facility Tour sign-up will be open from 0700 to 0755 hours. We anticipate the first days events to last through 1700 hours with a lunch break - no meals are provided. There is no limit on the number of attendees for each company; however the facility tours will be limited to no more than two personnel per company. (2) June 19, 2008, Thursday Facilities Tours; those visitors that signed up for the facility tours will meet at the U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Headquarters, Building #56301, Banister Hall parking lot. Facility tour check-in and boarding will be open from 0700 to 0730 hours and the buses will depart promptly at 0730. Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. You may also want to bring a hat or sun screen, water and light snack, since some of the tours are conducted outdoors and it gets very warm in June. The tours will end at approximately 1430 hours with no lunch break. The Industry Days events, associated briefings and tours do not constitute a commitment, implied, or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued nor will the U.S. Government pay or reimburse for such event. This should not be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to enter into a contract.
