Description
Add these changes to the synopsis/solicitation. 1. Paragraph 4.1, item no. 1, is clarified as follows: 4.1OPERATING CONDITIONS 1. Size of Pump Sleeve (Opening Thru Floor) (ID) 21 inches 2. Paragraph 4.5 is replaced in its entirety by the following: 4.5COLUMN ASSEMBLY Column pipe shall be furnished in interchangeable sections not over 10 feet in length and shall be connected via flange type couplings. The pump intake shall be a maximum of 1 foot from the base of the sump, resulting in a minimum column length of 67 feet from the floor mounting location of the pump. The friction loss in the column shall not exceed 5 feet per 100 feet of column, based on the rated capacity of the pump. The weight and size of the column shall be no less than required in AWWA spec E101-1. The line shafting shall be AISI 300 series or 416 stainless steel of ample size, minimum of 1 inch diameter, to operate the pump without distortion or vibration. The column assembly shall have bronze bearing retainers retained by the butted pipe ends. Each bearing retainer shall contain a water-lubricated, cutless rubber bearing designed for vertical turbine pump service. 3. Drawing P-001 Information Drawing is added for clarification. This drawing will not paste to this website. I will send this drawing to all listed interested vendors plus any other company that contacts me by email. I will also send the system characteristics curve by email to all listed interested vendors and those who contact me by email. Also, under 8.0; Fabricated steel is an acceptable equal to cast iron. Close date remains the same
