- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Health Information and Service (CCHIS), National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) is seeking to award a sole source commercial purchase order to provide service and maintence for three (3) Beckman Coulter HMX Analyzers located in Hyattsville MD for one-year on a 24x7 as needed basis. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the Government has determined that Beckman Coulter of Miami FL is the only responsible source to satisfy this requirement to provide service and maintenance technicians who are trained and certified to service Beckman Coulter HMX Analyzers. Subject to availability of funds, the Government intends issue a purchase order by 20 June 2008. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services and maintenance required are encouraged to identify themselves and provide written notification to the Contracting Officer (fyq8@cdc.gov) within fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
