- The contractor shall furnish blood and blood components, in standard industry approved containers that are properly marked, to be delivered FOB Destination within consignees premises, to the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, 1500 Woodrow Wilson Drive, Jackson, MS 39216, for the period Date Contract is signed through September 30, 2008 with two (2) 1-year option periods. Size standard is 500 employees. This is a non-set aside solicitation and open to all bidders that can fulfill the requirements outlined in the solicitation. All bids received from responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the VA. Interested parties shall have the completed solicitation package back into the hands of the Contracting Officer by 4:30 PM, June 16, 2008. Interested parties can obtain copies of the solicitation package by contacting the Contracting Officer above. The anticipated award date is July 1, 2008. Deliveries will be on an as needed and/or ordered basis.
