- The Department of Defense Education Activity's (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, using commercial procedures, a contract to fulfill its requirements for bus security attendant and bus aide services for students, grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12, attending Domestic Dependant Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) schools on Puerto Rico. Due to the sensitive nature of the information, Technical Exhibits 2 and 3 of the solicitation will not be available on FedBizOpps. Responsible sources must submit an email request to Summerlin.Walker@hq.dodea.edu. All request must include the vendor's name, street address, point of contact's name, email address and telephone number. The vendor agrees to protect the solicitation against unauthorized use and destroy the solicitation when it is no longer needed. The Solicitation Number is HE1254-08-R-0014 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This action incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2005-24 & Class Deviation 2005-0001 and DCN 20080303. The submission due date and time is Tuesday, 24 June 08, 1:00 PM (EST). The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a federal government agency, an education activity, tax exempt, and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties should ensure that their information in the Central Contractor Registration, http://www.ccr.gov/ is accurate and current. PSC Code: S206, Guard Services. NAICS Code: 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services. Size Standard: $17 M. No information concerning this solicitation or requests for clarification will be provided in response to telephone calls. All inquiries will be answered and provided to potential offerors via email at Summerlin.Walker@hq.dodea.edu and amendment to the solicitation. No inquiries will be considered if received more than fifteen (15) calendar days after the release of this notice. Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all of its supporting documents, and any applicable amendments posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fbo.gov. Amendments may be posted to FedBizOpps until the response due date.
