- This notice serves as official notification of the ITS-SB Industry Day session. Date: 11 June 2008 Time: 12:00 am 3:00 pm Location: AMC Hoffman Center, 206 Swamp Fox Rd, Alexandria, VA 22314 Offerors planning to attend must RSVP to POCs below NLT 2:00 pm Monday, June 9, 2008. Offerors may bring up to 3 participants. Offerors are encouraged to submit questions for discussion in advance of Industry Day. All questions shall be submitted to POCs below NLT 2:00 pm Monday, June 9, 2008. Note: Allow sufficient time for processing to preclude delays in the start of the session. A government representative will be at the entrance to escort attendees. The Government appreciates your interest in the ITS-SB Industry Day. The ITS-SB Industry Day session will follow the principles identified by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201, Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals. The objective of ITS-SB Industry Day is to provide a better understanding of the Armys mission, objectives, constraints, and technical environment so that prospective offerors and their team members may determine whether they are able to satisfy the Armys requirements. Industry Day will begin with briefings by the Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4) Contracting Officer, Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) Product Leader, and Technical Integration Center Lead. These individuals will facilitate a Q&A session following the briefings. The questions posed during the Q&A should not be related to the Source Selection Team, their roles, or responsibilities. The Government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Offeror questions and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The Government will not be recording the session. However, the Government will be taking notes to assure that any questions requiring official answers have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves, therefore the Offeror shall rely on the Final RFP. The Government looks forward to meeting with you and assisting you as you develop unique solutions to our important challenges.
