The rotor consist of 5 major parts: the shaft,stages 1-2 spool, stage 3 disk, stages 4-9 spool, C/R rearrotating(compressor discharge pressure air seal). Function:To provide asteady measured flow of air to the combustion section of the engine forfuel air mixture to produce the desired thrust. Dimensions: 28 incheswide by 38 inches in length.
