- Description
- The Trigo Fire burned approximately 13,708 acres in the Cibola National Forest and private lands in Torrance County, New Mexico. In support of the Burned Area Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation Plan the purpose of this RFP is to obtain aerially applied mulch on approximately 1500 acres of National Forest System Lands. Project work is located on the Mountainair Ranger District of the Cibola National Forest, New Mexico. It is desired to begin work immediately upon award of the contract, which is estimated to be not later than June 18, 2008. Work shall not begin until the Contracting Officer issues a Notice to Proceed. Once started,work is to commence in a timely manner until project completion. It is anticipated work will be completed within 10 days from the time it begins, weather permitting. This project is being advertised under Emergency procedures in order to have all work completed prior to the normal monsoon season (July starts in July). Any vendor wanting to be considered for award under this solicitation must be registered in CCR.
