- The National Park Service (NPS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with California Resources Agency, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, for fire hazard fuel reduction within specific locations of the of the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority located within the boundaries of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. The Government intends to award a firm - fixed price contract with deliveries completed on or about September 1, 2008. The solicitation is to be issued on or about June 18, 2008.
