- This is a request for information (sources sought) for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought Synopsis) is to determine if commercial Worldwide Web Internet services are available by a company that can provide the requirement below. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item the government is seeking. Final responses to this RFI will be due on 4 June 2008, 12:00 p.m. EST. Responses will be reviewed and may result in further clarifications to further explore commercial capabilities with selected respondents. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. ITEMS REQUIRED: 1. Commercial WWW internet access to 8532 Marina Bay Drive, MacDill AFB, FL 33621 2. 13 static IP address 3. Minimum 15MB downstream (download)/2 MB upstream (upload) 4. Billed/Paid on monthly basis with Government Purchase Card There is no requirement for e-mail address support or remote data back-up Delivery shall be FOB Destination to MacDill AFB, FL SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Qualified Interested Offerors must state whether they are a Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman-owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Black College or University or Minority Institution (HBCU/MI), an 8(a) firm, a Native American firm, a HUB Zone firm, a Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern, a participant in the Very Small Business Pilot Program, or a large business based on size standard. The government reserves the right to set this acquisition aside for any of the above type organizations based on the responses received.
