- Description
- This is a new solicitation to replace AG-04P5-S-08-0018. This new solicitation does not require a Construction contractor's license. New fence construction of a standard 3-wire fence for approximately 10 miles. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, and transportation necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the solicitation. Fencing materials will be government-furnished. The project is located within the Fremont-Winema National Forests on the Paisley Ranger district. The boundary fence is to be installed to split the Sycan and Winter Rim allotments. Legal description of this project location is as follows: T.32S., R.15E., Sections 1, 2, 12, 13, 24, 25, T.33S., R.12E., Sections 7, 6, 31. The fence is located in an area encompassing ponderosa pine stands, mixed conifer stands, juniper stands, meadow openings, and scab rock flats. The soil is rocky in some places and covered by a thick duff layer. The estimated start work date is June 2008. All work shall be completed within 80 calendar days affter the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside. Estimate price range: between $25,000 and $100,000.
