- The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the transformer oil containment area at the Blakely Mountain Power Plant. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, construction of concrete curbs, storm water sump, seismic anchorage; placement of metal containment curbing, access grating and stairs; site preparation and grading; installation of elastomeric liner and geotextile fabric; installation of electrical and mechanical controls; and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date on or about 18 Jun 2008. Bid Opening date and time: 22 Jul 2008, 1400 hours.
