- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12. Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items and authority of FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation and is the ONLY notice that will be issued. A hard copy of the solicitation is included in the attachment. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). This acquisition is for a ROV/ Crawler with Skid Assembly manufactured by: SEABOTIX INC company PN: LBV150SE-52. Name Brand or equal applies in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. The RFQ number is N00244-08-T-0447. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-23. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 334511 and the Small Business Standard is 750 employees. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside, non-competitive procurement.
