- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-08-T-0272 http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. This requirement is for 9 each Oscillators manufactured to the exact specifications of the attached AIL Drawing 403537-2 and associated drawings. Delivery is required FOB Destination within 90 days after award. Final inspection will be at destination. Along with your offer, provide references from a minimum of three Government/State/Local Agencies in which you have manufactured same/similar oscillators. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the government considering price and past performance related factors. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Offers may be faxed to Brenda Wood, FAX 812-854-3805 or e-mailed to brenda.wood@navy.mil. All required information must be received on or before 13 Jun 2008 at 11:00 AM local time. NOTE: Some of the drawings contain information that is Export Controlled. US owned companies that have completed DD Form 2345 and are certified Active Status under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) are the only companies authorized to receive these portions of the drawing package.
