- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement FA4861-08-Q-B004, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The NAICS for this solicitation is 333314. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is 500 employees. This is unrestrictive. This is a commercial request for a Ziess OPMI Proergo Surgical Microscope System or equal. Manufacturer's Part No. is 1217-770. This is a dental surgical microscope for endidontic procedures. 180 degrees tilting binoculars; motorized magnification system with an autofocus feature; focusing range of 215 mm; free floating magnetic system; foot control panel; integrated CCD digital video camera for documentation and for teaching purposes. Award Basis: Best Value. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offer: Technical Capability, Price, and delivery schedule.
