- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition in Santa Cruz, California. The United States Government intends to award a superseding lease using other than full and open competition to University Business Park, LLC, 2850 Mission Street, Santa Cruz, California for a combination office laboratory for U.S. Geological Survey. The Government currently leases space under lease GS-09B-01150. Under the superseding lease, the space will expand from 20,428 BOMA Office Area Square Feet to approximately 52,400 BOMA Office Area Square Feet and will consist of a combination office and laboratory space. The fully serviced superseding lease will be for a period of twelve years firm. The Government would consider locating the approximately 32,000 BOMA Office Area Square Feet expansion space in close proximity to the existing leased space only if offeror includes cost of relocation and facilities duplicaiton in the rental consideration. The area under consideration is bounded to the North to Mission St., East by Swift St., South by Delaware Ave., and West by Natural Bridges Dr. Firms who are interested in commenting regarding the Government's intent to award this project under Other Than Open Competition or in obtaining additional information regarding the above procurement, should provide written comments to Lauren Parsons, General Services Administration, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, 3rd Floor East (9PE), San Francisco, CA 94102. The Contracting Officer must receive written comments within 5 days of the publication of this notice.
