- Pr was solicited to one source due to PR value was under $25, 000. In the process quantity was increase due to the increase in demand on this item. The PR is scheduled to be awarded to the MFG. At time of solicitation there are 271 each on backorder of which 215 each are Priority 2's. Anticipated award date is 9 May 08. NSN(s): 2920-00-728-2040, Item Description: Armature, Motor, Manufacturer’s Code and Part Number: (24975) M002225332, Quantity 370, Unit of Issue: EA, Destination Information: Inspection and FOB, Delivery Schedule: 120 days, All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The solicitation will be oral solicited to MFG only. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved source is: Prestolite (24975). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
