- B&W Pantex is the Prime Contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE) for the Pantex Plant located near Amarillo, Texas. This Statement of Work (SOW) provides information on requirements and deliverables for a defense type industry suitB&W Pantex is the Prime Contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE) for the Pantex Plant located near Amarillo, Texas. This Statement of Work (SOW) provides information on requirements and deliverables for a defense type industry suitability background investigation service. In order to comply with Federal Regulations, B&W Pantex requires support services for researching background information of potential employees or subcontractors and supplying B&W Pantex with a certified Background Suitability Investigation Report (BSIR). All questions whether technical or contractual must be sent electronically to Randy Lucas, rlucas@pantex.com. If you will be responding to this solicitation, you must submit an e-mail to rlucas@pantex.com acknowledging your participation in this solicitation. If any questions should arise, you will be notified electronically. For parties interested in proposing on the Background Suitability Investigations project, please respond via e-mail and include the following in your e-mail by June 6, 2008: 1.
