- Description
- The Black Hills National Forest has a contract opportunity for a base year contract with two option years for a small business set aside project. This contract requires soil bulk density sampling and determinations with report documentation and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This includes furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, materials, operating supplies, and incidentals in accordance with the technical specifications. The work will be throughout the Black Hills National Forest. The base year is for testing 7 sites, the options will have a minimum of 2 sites per year with a maximum of 12 sites each year. Anticipated work will start in July 2008. Award of a firm fixed price, performance contract will be made to one qualified contractor based on a best value determination.
