Solicitaltion Number 701818Q007 Seaton Clean-Up and Berg Cabin Clean-Up 2008,NAICS 562910, Set Aside for Small Busiess Concerns, HubZone Preference.Solicitation closes on June 30, 2008 at 4:00 PM., Point of Contact is Lorrie Gleghorn at 503-231-2392.The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if deemed to be the best value to the Government.Bid bond is required at 20% of proposed price. Performance and Payment bonds will be requested within 10 days of award. No Faxed, emailed or hand carried offers will be excepted. Solicitation will be available the 1st week on June at at www.fbo.gov. Project 1 Mercury Contamination Removal at Berg CabinKenai National Wildlife RefugeSoldotna, Alaska Scope of Work Provide all materials, equipment and labor needed to remove previously identified mercury contaminated soils from the Berg Cabin work site, a remote lakeside location on Tustamena Lake. The site is in a designated "Wilderness" area within the boundaries of Kenai National Wildlife Refuge (Kenai NWR), Soldotna, AK. Remove contaminants and legally dispose of them. Coordinate all work activities, including required permits and clearances, with the Contracting Officer, Kenai NWR, State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) and other project stakeholders. Coordination with ADEC is critical. Project 2 Seaton Roadhouse Cleanup 2008Tetlin National Wildlife RefugeTok, Alaska Scope of Work This project is to provide services to address all comments and recommendations outlined by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) and to provide a full detailed Work Plan for completion of all cleanup work at Seaton Roadhouse. Contractor shall coordinate and document coordination with ADEC and the Tetlin NWR Station Representative. Contractor shall be careful not to disturb any other public or private property, not associated with the site. Contractor is responsible for verifying with the Station Representative that no areas belonging to private entities are disturbed. The Contractor shall carefully study these specifications and attachments from previous projects so that work can be accomplished in a timely manner. The contractor shall attempt to ask all pertinent questions about the work prior to submitting a proposal. This Scope of Work is not all inclusive and shall not relieve the contractor of responsibilities as outlined in federal, state, and local regulations.
