- This is a Market Survey to obtain a reliable source for a future replenishment contract on the TA-1-PT with a CECOM part number SM-C-189372 and NSN: 5985-00-521-1320. The last source for this item is not available. This future buy will include manufacturing the product.A detailed drawing package for the manufacture of the TA-1-PT Telephone Set is available along with the existing technical manuals. Suppliers capable of furnishing The TA-1-PT Telephone Set must so indicate, by writing to Commander, CECOM LCMC LRC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-C-DT,Building 1202W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include what capabilities the supplier has, such as manufacturing, testing, and provide references from previous contracts. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The Army currently procures the TA-1-PT with a die cast aluminum handset housing. Aluminum housing is preferred, but if a company can produce the handset housing with another kind of material that will be as durable as the cast aluminum they will be considered.
