- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for miscellaneous electrical hardware for a Stabline Automatic voltage regulator as follows: 63-23-730-8 ferroresonance stabilizing transformer, 24 each; circuit breaker main distribution S203-B10, 8 each; circuit breakers last pole, 26 each; circuit breakers MPCE S201-D32, 26 each; cable four wire 10 awg copper, 30 each; cable four wire 12 awg copper, 220 each; bolts M8, 88 each; nuts M8, 8 each; flat washers M8, 16 each; lock washers M8, 8 each; bolt lag 8mm, 8 each; concrete anchors M8, 88 each; flat washers M8, 176 each; lock washers M8, 88 each; gland nuts, 44 each; grommets, 44 each; feed through, 44 each; cad weld shots, 88 each; cad weld molds, 6 each; din rail, 2 each; rubber isolation feet ferroresonant transformer, 84 each and sparr parts for stabline, 2 each. This is an "all or none" requirement - a split award will not be processed. All prospective bidders must bid on all items as specified in the solicitation. The requested delivery date will be approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-08-T-0173 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3452, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 332722. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 3 June 2008 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Anticipated award date will be on or around 13 June 2008.
