- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Opex Corporation of Moorestown, New Jersey for Three Opex AS3690I US – Model 51 Mounting for Retro-fit and Service for the Opex AS 3690 Scanner. The contractor must provide to the Government a single source (point of contact) for technical support and information for software problems, questions, and failures. An automated answering system is not acceptable. The technical support must be available through a toll-free telephone number that is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24 x 7) to all government help desk personnel. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA requirements are invited to submit the information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency shall issue a sole source award of the product and service under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by June 13, 2008 by 10:00 a.m. EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTATED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
