- The Forest Service has a requirement for a contract, consisting of a Base Period and 4 one-year option periods for a Contractor to provide professional and technical service in order to perform the duties as a Forester Liaison for the Southern Research Station Headquarters, Asheville, NC. Duties include but are not limited to attending meetings at various locations, advising the Southern Group of State Foresters on research needs and concerns and identifying the means to address these issues. Contractor must be available to travel. Contractor will work appropriately 25 hours a week. The solicitation package will be uploaded on FEDBIZOPPS on June 16, 2008.
